About Us and our Founders

We are a New York based independent investment advisor managing portfolios for discerning wealth management clients and institutional investors. Our advisory service is personalized and includes quarterly portfolio reviews coupled with a comprehensive annual review.

Our fees are transparent, competitive and based on assets under management; clients receive quarterly invoices and pay us directly. All client assets are held with outside, nationally-recognized custodians in separate accounts.

To learn more or request a complimentary portfolio review, please contact us and one of our advisors will contact you shortly.

We founded WSQ Capital as an independent investment advisor to minimize conflicts of interest between the firm and its clients. We know from both experience and deduction that these conflicts exist at most large firms that are in the business of marketing securities and providing investment advice. When a firm generates underwriting or commission revenue by placing ARCs, VRDOs, high-yield bonds, proprietary funds or structured products in client accounts, a wide ranging mix of conflicts arise between different portions of the firm, and employees who represent different constituencies. At WSQ Capital, we have the flexibility to transact with different brokers, and seek to purchase those securities that best help our clients achieve their objectives. Our fee schedule is created with an eye towards aligning client and advisor interests. As an example, we purchase municipal bonds for clients. We seek to find the best mix of income and credit quality for the client, with an eye towards managing interest rate risks. We are not concerned with inventory of bonds since we can purchase new and secondary issues across the street. We focus on whether the investment is appropriate for our clients, and we are held to a fiduciary standard.
